Common Workplace Hazards / Ergonomics
Ten basic ways to reduce the risk of cumulative trauma injury:

    1. Reduce exertion or force - spread or lighten the load.

    2. Keep everything in easy reach - prioritize by frequency of use.

    3. Reduce repetition - mix tasks.

    4. Work at proper heights - plus or minus elbow height.

    5. Provide clearance and access - avoid constricted layouts.

    6. Work in neutral positions - be comfortable.

    7. Minimize contact stress - take the pressure off.

    8. Provide mobility and change of posture - stretch & take micro-breaks.

    9. Minimize physical & mental fatigue -avoid over loading tasks & muscles.

    10. Maintain a comfortable environment - Lighting, temperature, noise, etc.
