Hazard Identification, Assessment, and Control is a major part of the Corsafety.ca Systems safety program. It shall be the responsibility of the Corsafety.ca Systems field hand at the Well site location to identify, assess, and control workplace hazards. This assessment shall be documented on the "Tail Gate Safety Meeting Report" form. This report shall record the hazards identified and the methods used to eliminate or control them. This report shall be submitted to the Select HSE Manager for review and the report maintained.
  1. Additionally employees, foremen, supervisors, management and sub-contractors are all required to:

    • Identify hazards such as possible exposure to, and applicable levels of, H2S gas
    • Evaluate the degree of risk posed by each hazard
    • Implement hazard controls to reduce the risk of each hazard to acceptable levels.
    The ability to identify hazards and evaluate the degree of risk posed by each hazard assists in determining appropriate hazard controls necessary to reduce the risk posed by each hazard to acceptable levels.
