What is a Hazard Assessment?
A hazard assessment is an objective process for the examination of potential loss resulting from workplace hazards, changing conditions in the workplace, or health and safety program system failures. The type of loss may be injury or illness to people, mechanical damage to equipment, property damage, loss of production, or environmental damage.

Compass has developed a hazard assessment for each facility based on each position found in the company. You will be given a Task Inventory Form for your position, this form will outline the hazards of your poistion, please take some time and familiarize yourself with the hazards of your position. As you move along with your training here at Compass, you will be exposed to control measures that will be used to control hazards here.
