Respiratory Protection
Here at CorSafety before an employee uses any respirator with a negative or positive pressure tight-fitting face piece, the employee must be fit tested with the same make, model, style, and size of respirator that will be used.
  1. All fit tests will be performed by the vendor supplying the product to you.
Care and use of Respiratory protection.
  1. Disassembly and Cleaning

    - Remove cartridges and/or filters from the connectors and discard them. remove the backpack adapter, if used.

    - Remove the head-band assembly, inhalation connectors, inhalation valves, exhalation-valve guard, valve and valve seat from the face piece.

    - Prepare the solution of cleaner/sanitizer according to the instructions. Wash the face piece and components in the cleaning solutions.

    - rinse all components completely in clean warm water, then air dry in a clean area. Visually inspect all the components for damage. replace if necessary.

    - For light cleanings, a refresher wipe pad may be used to clean the portion that comes in contact with your face.
