Every worker, while engaged in an occupation, shall:
Take reasonable care to protect themselves and co-operate with the worker's employer for the purpose of protecting the health and safety of:
- the worker other workers engaged in the work of the employer, and
- other workers not engaged in the work of that employer but present at the work site at which the work is being carried out.
- Report to work fit for duty
- Obtain proper training prior to performing a task
- Follow all safety rules, procedures, and instructions
- Keep work areas clean and neat
- Use all safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment when needed
- Report ALL dangerous or near miss circumstances immediately
- Report ALL first aid and medical incidents immediately to your supervisor
