Flammable liquids such as gasoline and oil must be stored at least 25 meters from the well in properly labeled containers approved for their contents.
- Flammable liquid containers must be electrically bonded when liquids are being transferred from one to another.
- Fuel tanks of gasoline engines must be filled away from the work areas, and only after the engine is turned off.
- Access to all exits, fire and safety equipment must be clear of obstructions at all times
- Smoking is restricted to designated areas
- Matches and/or lighters shall not be allowed into restricted areas
- No form of communication e.g. (Cell Phones, Radios, I-pods, Gaming devices or transistors) are allowed within 25 meters of the well
