Storage area should be located away from vehicle paths.
- Storage should be divided and marked as areas for "Full" & "Empty".
- Appropriate measure should be taken to separate cylinders containing substances that could produce an explosive atmosphere if mixed.
- Cylinders should have valve protection caps in place whenever they are not connected.
- When transporting, cylinders must be secured (preferably in their upright position) so they can not fall or roll.
- All cylinders must not be exposed to heat sources that generate temperatures that may result in the failure or explosion of the contents or the system.
