- Pick up debris and clean up all messes.
- Keep walkways, doorways, and stairways free of obstructions.
- Keep outside walkways clear of snow and ice.
- Put tools away that are not being used.
- Lay cords and cables flat.
- Hand tools and equipment must not be placed on stairs or elevated platforms.
- Practicing good housekeeping will minimize incidents.
- Equipment left lying around present tripping hazards.
- Debris and oily rags are fire hazards.
- Material that is improperly stacked could topple over and injure someone.
- Snow and ice present slipping hazards.
- When you're finished with it- put it away.
- If you spill it - clean it up.
