All underground energized lines must be located and marked before any ground disturbance is undertaken
- Owners must have their facilities marked prior to work starting
- A pre-job meeting must be held with all workers involved in the ground disturbance
- All facilities situated within the excavation and within 5 m of the work area must be hand exposed
- Workers must know the safe working distances for heavy equipment from exposed facilities
